What to Expect

Our worship services combine elements of traditional and contemporary styles.  We tend to be less formal and value spontaneity during our services.

When you enter the lobby of the church, you will be greeted by an Usher who will offer you a bulletin; this bulletin contains the Order of Worship. When you enter the sanctuary, find yourself a pew seat and make yourself at home.  Don’t worry about taking anyone’s seat.  We have no reserved seats at CFPC.

What to wear:
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable as you worship with us.  Some of us prefer suits or dresses while others come more casual, including jeans.
Where to park:
Except for Handicap spaces, we have no other reserved parking.  Please park where you wish.  For your convenience we have a covered area near our sanctuary for pick-up and drop off needs.
How long does a typical worship service last:
Approximately 1 hour.
Is child care provided:
A nursery is available during worship for children Infant – Pre-K.  Children Pre-K – 2nd grade are welcome to stay in worship through the Children’s Moment, when they are invited to come forward for a visit with a worship leader, and are then invited to “Children’s Church”  through the rest of worship.

We look forward to assisting you with any other questions you may have; please feel free to contact to us.

Communion:
We partake in the Lord’s Supper on the fourth Sunday of the month as well as on Easter and Christmas. You will be invited forward by an Usher, pick up a pre-made portion of the Communion elements, and then return to your seat. We then partake of the Communion elements together.

*Please speak to an Usher if you require a large print bulletin or hymnal.

*The service consists of several standing portions; stand if you can, but you may remain seated if you need.
